Composability and shared risk

Applications can connect useful components and inherit their dependencies.

LET’S PICTURE IT

A machine made of interchangeable parts can be powerful, while one failing part can affect the whole assembly.

A node receives a proposed transaction or block-related message. Receipt is not the same as accepting its claims.

Animated local teaching model. No wallet, RPC or live blockchain data. Some labels and hashes are abbreviated for readability.

Contracts can call other contracts

A single transaction can interact with several applications under execution rules. That supports useful combinations such as exchanging an asset and depositing the result elsewhere.

Atomicity has a scope

A failed call can roll back state within its execution context. Outer logic can sometimes catch an inner failure. Cross-chain workflows have additional asynchronous steps and do not automatically share one simple atomic rollback.

Dependencies propagate assumptions

Token behavior, oracle inputs, upgrade controls and external call safety can affect an integration. A trusted top-level interface does not erase risks in the components it uses.

Trace the complete action

Identify the call sequence and which state changes are permitted at each boundary. Our ABI and revert tools help inspect supplied bytes, while a complete production analysis also needs code, state and execution context.

QUICK CHECK · NO PRESSURE

Does combining two contracts remove the risks of either dependency?
