Trusting an RPC provider

A convenient access point adds assumptions about answers, privacy and availability.

LET’S PICTURE IT

A librarian can answer your question quickly, but you may still want to know which edition and catalog they consulted.

A node receives a proposed transaction or block-related message. Receipt is not the same as accepting its claims.

An RPC service exposes operations

Applications use provider endpoints to read chain data, simulate calls or submit signed transactions. The endpoint is an access service, not the protocol’s sole authoritative owner.

Answers have a context

Network, block tag, synchronization and retained historical state can affect responses. Two services may temporarily disagree about recent head or pending data.

Requests can reveal information

An endpoint can observe request patterns and submitted data under its policies. A public address may connect activity to a user when combined with service metadata.

This site avoids the dependency for tools

Our calculators and decoders use supplied local input. They do not query balances, estimate live gas or broadcast transactions. That makes their results repeatable without a paid or free RPC provider.

QUICK CHECK · NO PRESSURE

Does a local ABI encoding calculation need an RPC provider?
