Public read-only endpoints
GET /api/v1/catalog.json lists all 500 lessons, 25 tracks and 10 browser tools with links to their representations.
GET /api/v1/lessons/{slug}.json returns a complete published lesson as Markdown, its source reference, examples and quiz. Use a slug from the catalog.
GET /api/v1/status.json reports static release counts and confirms that resource is reachable. It does not monitor a blockchain or external services.
Machine-readable discovery
Start with the API catalog and the OpenAPI description. Public access documentation explains why registration and credentials are unnecessary.
Markdown for readers and agents
Request an HTML page with the Accept header set to text/markdown. Normal browser requests keep HTML. Vary: Accept distinguishes the representations. A direct Markdown file is also available for each page and linked from the JSON lesson catalog.
curl https://ethertools.xyz/learn/blockchain/ -H 'Accept: text/markdown'Content preferences
Search and agent input use are allowed; model training is declined. The declared policy is search=yes, ai-input=yes, ai-train=no, also published in robots.txt and response headers. Content signals express preferences; they do not technically prevent copying.
Scope and limits
Only public read access is offered. The calculators run in the visitor’s browser; this API does not execute tools, resolve balances, connect wallets, sign messages or send transactions. Do not submit private keys, recovery phrases or other secrets.
Markdown is generated at build time. Header negotiation uses a Pages Function within the account’s Workers request allowance. Direct JSON and Markdown resources remain static. HTML can remain available through the project’s fail-open setting if the free function allowance is exhausted.
Reuse fetched resources and avoid repeated bulk polling. Responses can be cached; the static catalog changes when a new release is published.
